This 15″ Retina MacBook Pro came in with a cracked LCD and Glass. While it is possible to replace just the LCD/Glass panel in this model, the part cost and repair labor time make the total cost of repair just above purchasing the entire display replacement. We hope that within the next year the part cost on the LCD’s will come down to a level that makes component repair affordable. As always we are perfecting new methods of repairing the components of the display, so when the price comes down on the parts, we will be ready!
