Broken Screens on MacBook Pros

Mac Display with colored splotches Shattered Glass on Mac Display

Broken screens are just one of many things you know we can always fix quickly and expertly. It’s also one of those problems that looks far more terrifying than it is. If you own a MacBook Pro from 2009 or later, there are essentially three major components to your display: there is the glass overlay, the LCD, and the aluminum display casing itself. How many of these components need replacing generally signifies how hard the display was hit. You may just have a crack in the glass overlay, or even a good shatter, and only the glass will need replacement. A more severe hit may cause the broken glass to etch the LCD, or even shatter the LCD crystals, requiring both the glass and LCD to be replaced. And then every so often, we see a display hit so hard that even the outer aluminum shell is bent. Anything can happen.

The good news is all of these components are replaceable, and doing so is one of our specialties. No matter how hard your display was hit, bring it by and we will have is good as new within 24 hours! Do you need your MacBook Pro display repaired? We offer both LCD and Glass replacements for MacBook Pro’s. Take a look at our pricing on our MacBook Pro Display Repair page.
